Okay, so now you have your website up and running with a sufficient amount of content to give it value. Now you need people to see it for it to do any good. This poses that famous question – How can i Increase the Traffic on my Website?
How can I increase the Traffic on my Website?
Here at Kwidzin, we will focus a fair bit on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to get your site ranked. Being one of the fist results on Google search is definitely the best way you’re website is going to get traffic, because anyone seeing it has already specifically searched for that particular content. So there’s no fear of it falling on uninterested eyes. However, this is not always easy. With Billions of websites now online, there’s many scrambling for that same spot in the Google or Bing rankings. Many businesses will actually hire an SEO management firm to take care of this for their website and there’s many other paid options to increase your sites search engine rank. But there are many other ways to get your website seen and drive traffic to it.
What is “Traffic”?
Just in case you are completely new to the game, let’s make sure you understand what i’m talking about. In your research, you will doubtlessly come across the term “Traffic” a lot. Traffic is basically the people who come to your website. Your visitors. Imagine all the internet users are cars and the internet being the road system. The Topic or “Niche” of your website is the street. Like all places, some streets are busier than others and likewise some streets have more buildings than others. Imagine your website as being a building in one of these streets. If its the only building on the street, then it will definitely be seen by traffic on that street. But if your street is a busy one (ie, your niche is a popular one), then you will have more shops for the traffic to see (more competition websites). In the case of the latter, you can’t simply rely on luck that Traffic will choose to visit your shop. So you need to get it noticed and actively drive “traffic” (visitors) to your shop (your website). This is what we will discuss below.
Getting the Traffic
So, besides SEO as above mentioned, there’s many ways to get traffic to your website. Some paid, some Free. There’s also many options of getting so much Free with the option of upgrading for more. Let’s have a look;

Be careful not to over do it though. Forum readers expect more quality content than the Social Media platforms and nobody likes being Spammed. So be selective as to where you place your websites link. You don’t want to end up giving your site a bad name for littering up interesting content of others.
